8-Team Tournament Format Held Over 3 Days and 2 Nights

Sacheon Genius defeated ‘Gangseo Cerebral Palsy Welfare Center for the Disabled’ 1:0 in a close match in the third-place playoff of the ‘LIG 2022 Ulsan National Disabled Soccer Championship’ held in Ulsan on the 18th, securing the final third place.
Earlier, Sacheon Genius advanced to the quarterfinals by a bye and was unfortunately defeated 5:0 by ‘Jeonnam Sporting’ in the semifinals, missing the chance to advance to the final.
This tournament was held from September 16 to 18 over two nights and three days in an eight-team knockout format.
The ‘Sacheon Genius’ soccer team is the only cerebral palsy disabled soccer team operating in Gyeongnam, supported by Sacheon City.
Centered on registered disabled players from Sacheon City, two national team players for cerebral palsy disabled soccer and players from all over Gyeongnam gather in Sacheon City to train two to three times a month.
In October, they are scheduled to participate as the Gyeongnam representative in the soccer category at the 42nd National Disabled Sports Festival held in Ulsan City.
