[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Isul] Director Kim Hong-seon has signed a contract with the Hollywood agency WME (William Morris Endeavor).

On the 20th, TCO (Contents On Co., Ltd.) stated, "Director Kim's contract is due to the interest in his new work 'Wolf Hunting'." This is the first time in eight years since director Bong Joon-ho, who gained global attention with 'The Host' and 'Snowpiercer' in 2014.

WME is the largest North American agency operating in Hollywood, LA, representing famous stars in various fields such as sports and publishing, and has represented artists like Justin Timberlake, Bruno Mars, and Adele, as well as directors Quentin Tarantino and Ridley Scott. In Korea, it has signed contracts with Psy, Lee Byung-hun, Rain (Jung Ji-hoon), as well as directors Park Chan-wook and Bong Joon-ho.

Meanwhile, 'Wolf Hunting' is a hard-boiled survival action film about a brutal rebellion that begins inside a massive moving prison on the sea transporting ruthless criminals from the Pacific to Korea, where an extreme survival game unfolds. It will be released on the 21st.
