Visitor Entry Procedures and Reception Staff Greeting Hours Decrease... Security Maintained by Applying One-Time Password (OTP) Values
ToBeSoft (CEOs Kyungchan Lee and Seonsu Jang) announced on the 19th that it has officially developed the smart access management system ‘V-PASS,’ which improves the difficulties faced by visitors and reception staff.
By installing this app, it facilitates visitors' access and manages building security. It is a mobile service that enables effective access control.
This system is based on ToBeSoft’s UI/UX platform Nexacro and is provided as a subscription service on the Naver Cloud platform. Security data is stored in the cloud system, and smartphones are used like keys. It protects visitor information that they prefer to keep private and simplifies access procedures to enhance user convenience. In the future, using both ToBeSoft Nexacro and V-PASS will allow for more systematic platform management.
The usage method is that when a visitor applies for a visit, the person in charge approves and issues a ‘QR code access pass.’ Visitors can check location information and find the appointment place. Additionally, to enhance security levels, a dynamic QR code including an encrypted one-time password (OTP) is used to prevent leakage and reuse of QR code values through screenshots, cameras, or video recordings.
Last September, it obtained the Cloud Service Security Certificate (CSAP) from the Korea Internet & Security Agency and was selected as a digital service by the Ministry of Science and ICT. From July 11 to 12, it participated in the ‘4th Digital Platform Government Future Strategy Seminar’ held at the Sejong Convention Center, widely promoting the product’s excellence to visitors.
