Recruitment from the 20th to October 4th... Training Activity Managers for Healthy City School & Special Lectures Held 11 Times from October 13th to Support Healthy Lifestyle Habits
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Eunpyeong-gu (Mayor Kim Mi-kyung) is recruiting students for the 2nd session of the "Healthy City School" from the 20th to October 4th.
To create a "Sustainable Healthy City Eunpyeong," the program aims to train "Healthy City School Activity Managers" who will participate in healthy city policies and present various opinions.
A "Healthy City" refers to a city where local administrative agencies, organizations, and residents proactively cooperate across all sectors to improve physical and social environments, develop community resources, and continuously strive to enhance health and quality of life.
The 2nd session of the "Healthy City School" special lectures will be held 11 times in total, 1 to 2 times per week, from October 13th to November 30th.
The lecture content includes various topics for forming healthy lifestyle habits, such as ▲understanding the concept of a healthy city ▲discovering local health agendas and planning health projects ▲mind management, among others.
Students who complete the Healthy City School will be given the opportunity to work as "Healthy City Activity Managers." Their activities include strengthening and deepening the role of activity managers, participating in healthy city promotion campaigns, discovering and monitoring local health agendas, and more.
The recruitment target is Eunpyeong-gu residents who are highly interested in health and community activities or who wish to contribute to community development and building a healthy city in Eunpyeong. The number of students is limited to 30 on a first-come, first-served basis.
Applications can be submitted by downloading the Healthy City School application form from the Eunpyeong-gu Office website's courses and education bulletin board, filling it out, and sending it via email to the person in charge or submitting it to the Health and Hygiene Division of the Eunpyeong-gu Public Health Center.
Eunpyeong-gu is promoting various healthy city activities such as ▲joining the Korea Healthy Cities Association and the Western Pacific Healthy Cities Federation ▲operating the Healthy City Steering Committee ▲running the Healthy City School and Healthy City Activity Managers ▲and campaigns to create a Healthy City Eunpyeong.
