Exhibition, Performance, and Experience Yard... Emphasizing the Importance of Security
[Asia Economy Reporter La Young-chul] The "6th World Military Look Festival" will be held on November 5th in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi Province, the front line of the DMZ.
Yeoncheon County and the Festival Promotion Committee announced on the 16th that the event will be held at the Jeongok-ri Paleolithic site and will be organized into exhibition areas (mobile equipment, firepower equipment, communication equipment, surveillance equipment), performance areas (military band parade, performances), and experience areas (survival games, performances by military enthusiasts, etc.).
In particular, the festival aims to highlight the importance of peace, unification, and security by allowing participants to experience military cultures from around the world.
It is designed to provide an opportunity for the older generation who cherish memories of military service and for youth preparing for their mandatory military duty to experience military life.
The Promotion Committee emphasized Yeoncheon, located in the DMZ, on the festival poster and symbolically expressed the flags of the countries that participated in the Korean War, along with the wishes for freedom, peace, and unification of military enthusiasts.
Lee Jong-ho, director of the Promotion Committee, said, "We will promote the festival to help cultivate patriotism and love for the country by improving the image of the nation and the military through a five-sense experiential festival where visitors can see, hear, touch, and feel."
