T'way Air Opens 2nd Phase Sales for Ultra-Low Fare 'Mega Early Bird' Routes

Sale of Incheon-Kalibo, Cebu, Guam, Saipan, and Daegu-Da Nang Routes

[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] T'way Air announced on the 16th that it will begin the second round of sales for the 'Mega Early Bird' promotion routes starting from the 19th.

The Mega Early Bird is T'way Air's lowest fare ticket sale promotion held only twice a year. The first round of sales was conducted from the 5th to the 18th, offering tickets for domestic routes as well as routes to Japan, Thailand, and Vietnam.

The second round of sales will take place over seven days from the 19th to the 25th. Starting at 10 a.m. on the 19th, special fare tickets for the Incheon-Kalibo, Incheon-Cebu, and Daegu-Da Nang routes will be available, and from 10 a.m. on the 20th, special fares for the Incheon-Guam and Incheon-Saipan routes will be sold.

The special fares, including fuel surcharges and airport taxes, are priced per one-way trip as follows: ▲Incheon-Kalibo from KRW 132,600 ▲Incheon-Cebu from KRW 128,600 ▲Daegu-Da Nang from KRW 123,600 ▲Incheon-Guam from KRW 159,790 ▲Incheon-Saipan from KRW 158,000.

The boarding period for Mega Early Bird tickets for routes departing from Incheon is from the 30th of next month to November 30th, and for the Daegu-Da Nang route, from November 30th to December 31st. Flight schedules after December will be finalized by mid-next month, after which ticket sales will begin.

In addition to special fare tickets, benefits include one-time waiver of international itinerary change fees and a KRW 50,000 discount coupon for international baggage, helping travelers prepare reasonably.

Also, through T'way Air's September payment discount event, customers paying with KakaoPay or T'way Pay Samsung Card can receive up to KRW 30,000 off on all routes, and an additional KRW 50,000 discount coupon for round-trip payments on the Incheon-Singapore route.

A T'way Air official stated, “This is a reasonable and great opportunity to purchase tickets cheaply without the burden of change fees.” They added, “Various additional services such as pre-ordering in-flight meals, purchasing extra baggage, and seat selection can also be prepared through the website and mobile.”
