"Enjoy the Festival with a Stamp Tour"... Bucheon City Hosts Various Events for a Successful Signature Festival

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyesook] Bucheon City in Gyeonggi Province is operating a mobile stamp tour, pre-events, and a special Bucheon City Tour course to ensure the successful hosting of its representative festivals during the autumn festival season.

The mobile stamp tour will operate 12 festival event sites during the event period in connection with representative festivals such as the Boksagol Arts Festival starting on the 16th, Bucheon Enterprise Festival, Bucheon International Comics Festival (BICOF), Bucheon World B-Boy Championship (BBIC), and Bucheon International Animation Festival (BIAF). Participants who collect 8 or more stamps will be entered into a draw to receive prizes.

At Hambak Neighborhood Park in Okgil-dong and Gogang Seonsa Historic Park in Gogang-dong, various events will be held, including festival photo zones, life-size character cutouts, caricature drawing, distribution of festival promotional balloons, street busking (magic) performances, and instant photo services.

The "Bucheon City Tour Special Course to the Festival" is designed to start from Ojeong-dong and Okgil-dong respectively, allowing tourists to visit the Korea Manhwa Museum, Hanok Experience Village, and then participate in festival auxiliary events. Bucheon Mayor Jo Yong-ik said, "This event was planned to create a festival venue where Bucheon citizens and tourists can enjoy and participate together through various events," adding, "We expect it to help revitalize urban tourism, which has been stagnant due to COVID-19."
