[Asia Economy Reporter Kwon Jae-hee] RFHIC, a specialist in wireless communication equipment and compound semiconductors, is showing strong performance following news that it is pushing to establish a joint venture for next-generation compound semiconductor technology development together with SK Siltron, a subsidiary of SK Group, and Yes Power Technics.
According to the Korea Exchange on the 13th, as of 1:39 PM, RFHIC is trading at 27,700 KRW, up 4.92% compared to the previous trading day.
SK Siltron, the only wafer manufacturer in Korea, plans to utilize the semiconductor expertise of RFHIC and Yes Power Technics, while RFHIC and Yes Power Technics intend to accelerate research and development through SK Siltron's wafers.
