Chairman Choi Pyung-kyu of SNT Group delivered a commemorative speech on the 43rd anniversary of the company's founding on the 13th.

In his speech, Chairman Choi expressed gratitude to the employees for their hard work, stating that the 43 years since SNT's founding, which came at the center of turmoil in a turbulent era, represent another achievement of sustainable management in the face of a complex global crisis.

He continued, “Just as the history of Korea's crises has always been a history of overcoming by ‘great Koreans,’ the ‘challenging and sacrificial SNT men’ possess a strong power within them to turn crises into opportunities. Based on that strength, we must devote even more effort to nurturing future talent amid the fierce ‘war for talent.’”

He added, “The Unhae Research Institute and Unhae Scholarship Foundation will also support the development of future talent. We will nurture creative Korean talent and provide both material and moral support so that outstanding young people facing financial difficulties can focus on their studies. We will further dedicate ourselves to efforts and investments to fulfill SNT’s social responsibility.”

Chairman Choi quoted Admiral Yi Sun-sin, a hero of national crisis overcoming, who said “Jeongjungyeosan (靜重如山),” meaning “Be calm and steady like a mountain!”?a leadership maxim that turned the tide of victory during the Imjin War.

He said, “In this chaotic era, this is an excellent maxim that will serve as a future indicator for SNT, which continues fierce technological competition in defense industry and advanced future technologies. With the attitude of ‘Jeongjungyeosan (靜重如山)’ and always with humility and consideration, overcome the approaching perfect storm crisis and create a strong new history of ‘World-Class SNT.’”
