[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyesook] Bucheon City in Gyeonggi Province will hold the 'Park Network Festival with Citizens' at Sangdong Lake Park on the 24th.
The event, co-hosted with the Bucheon Park Network Council, will feature cultural performances such as cheerleading and Dream School under the slogan "Together GREEN Bucheon Gong (at the park), Gong (sharing), Rak (enjoying)".
Participants will also experience making flowerpots, dyeing balsam flowers, creating dyed cloth and wooden flutes using products produced in the park, as well as making grape syrup from grapes grown in the Care Garden of Sangdong Lake Park.
Any Bucheon citizen can participate by reservation, and if the number of reservations is insufficient, on-site participation is also possible. Citizens who wish to participate can inquire at the Sangdong Lake Park Operations Headquarters.
Additionally, on the same day, a 'Meeting with the Author' will be held for pre-registered citizens at the rest area on the 2nd floor of Supia, Bucheon Lake Botanical Garden.
Jo Yong-ik, Mayor of Bucheon, said, "With over 2,000 citizens participating in the Park Network Festival, a variety of sights and enjoyable activities are prepared," adding, "I hope many citizens enjoy and heal at Sangdong Lake Park."
