[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Gwangjin-gu (Mayor Kim Kyung-ho) held its first regular assembly since the launch of the 8th local government, combining it with a popera concert to encourage employees and create an enjoyable communication time.

The employee regular assembly and friendly communication popera concert, held at 10 a.m. on the 8th at Naru Art Center, was organized in a lively atmosphere that employees could enjoy, breaking away from the conventional format, in line with Mayor Kim Kyung-ho’s emphasis on ‘Communication · Development · Happiness’.

About 500 people attended the regular assembly. Before it began, Mayor Kim Kyung-ho personally welcomed the first 100 employees by giving them roses. As a surprise event, he took a commemorative photo with the employee who was the 100th recipient.

Mayor Kim Kyung-ho warmly greeted the attendees by saying, “Nice to see my good friends,” expressed gratitude for the employees’ hard work, and reaffirmed his commitment to realizing the 8th local government’s slogan, ‘Happy Gwangjin through Communication and Development.’

Following the regular assembly, famous popera singer Kim Jae-bin was invited to perform live, receiving enthusiastic responses from the employees. Then, Kwon Min-ho, a current professional instructor at the Integrity Training Institute, gave a lecture on the importance of kindness and communication for a happy public service life, boosting employee morale.

Mayor Kim Kyung-ho said, “I planned this regular assembly and concert with the belief that employees must develop and be happy for Gwangjin-gu to develop and its residents to be happy,” adding, “I will do my best without losing my initial resolve to achieve a happy Gwangjin through communication and development.”
