Cheongju Heungdeok Police Station announced on the 7th that they have arrested Joo Mo (25), who operates the YouTube channel ‘158cm OO’. Joo is facing charges including obstruction of business, insult, and violation of the Animal Protection Act.
Joo was booked without detention on suspicion of broadcasting baseless claims of "illegal business operations" after visiting a karaoke practice room in Heungdeok-gu, Cheongju on the 31st of last month and is currently under police investigation. It is reported that Joo stated during the police investigation, “I did it for the YouTube broadcast.”
