[Mokpo=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jeong Hyeong-seok] Mokpo City, Jeollanam-do announced on the 7th that it is recruiting a national judging panel for the 'Mokpo Music Play' nationwide audition competition.

The national judging panel will evaluate together with the professional judges the 20 contestants who pass the first and second preliminary rounds during the nationwide audition competition semifinals (9.30) and final (10.1) held at the festival venue.

The national judging panel is operated to secure fairness and diversity in judging by applying the evaluation method used in broadcasts to the festival venue, and to attract interest by providing an opportunity for visitors to the festival to participate.

In addition, a total of 100 national judges selected by lottery (30 Mokpo citizens, 70 from other regions) will participate in the nationwide audition competition judging and will be granted the privilege of watching performances by famous musicians such as Davichi, Loco, Lee Seung-yoon, and Oksang Dalbit from the front seats.

The application deadline is until the 14th, and the participation method is to 'like' the national judging panel recruitment post on Mokpo City's Facebook, send applicant information via Google Form, and leave a 'Application Complete + Tag a Friend comment' on the Facebook recruitment post.

Meanwhile, the semifinal and final of the nationwide audition competition will select the final TOP 5 by combining scores from judges composed of top domestic lyricists and composers (80%) and the national judging panel (20%).
