Ceragem Steps Up to Support Victims of National Disasters Including Floods and Wildfires

[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Dong-hyun] Ceragem announced on the 7th that it will provide various support measures for consumers affected by natural disasters such as record-breaking heavy rains and wildfires.

First, Ceragem is operating a free product exchange program for consumers affected by the record-breaking heavy rains in August this year. The eligible products include Ceragem healthcare appliances such as spinal medical devices and massage chairs that were damaged by flooding due to the heavy rains, and unusable products will be exchanged at no additional cost. Damage reports can be made through the Ceragem customer center.

Recently, Ceragem participated as an official sponsor in the "Consumer Protection Blind Spot Outreach Event for Coexistence and Sharing," jointly hosted by the Organization of Consumer Affairs Professionals (OCAP) and the Korea Consumer Agency, to comfort residents affected by the wildfires in Gangwon and support recovery efforts.

Ceragem donated spinal medical device Ceragem V6 and functional labeled porridge Ceramate Wellfood Porridge to aid the victims' recovery and regional restoration.

The event was held from the 31st of last month to the 1st of this month in Donghae City and Samcheok City, the largest wildfire-affected areas. The main activities included a donation ceremony for relief supplies, a daily necessities bazaar, consumer damage prevention education and mobile counseling for local seniors, and free performance and safety inspections of boilers and large home appliances at social welfare facilities.

A Ceragem representative said, "We decided to provide this support to offer even a small help to those affected by the wildfires and heavy rains," adding, "We will continue to promote various social contribution activities to bring vitality to more people's lives."
