KMI Korea Medical Institute and Myongji University AI-RPA Project Group Sign Agreement for Business Process Automation

[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwanju] KMI Korea Medical Institute announced on the 6th that it has signed a business agreement with Myongji University AI-RPA Project Group for business process automation.

Through this agreement, the AI-RPA Project Group will provide consulting and technical support for the successful promotion of KMI's automation projects, while KMI will offer students majoring in RPA Convergence at Myongji University the opportunity to participate in RPA development practice courses.

RPA is a technology that structures data generated during work processes and performs tasks automatically and logically. By automating simple and repetitive tasks to execute them quickly and precisely, it can shorten work time, reduce costs, and improve overall management efficiency.

Myongji University has been leading this field by establishing the first RPA course among domestic universities in 2018 and conducting various industry-academia cooperation projects centered on the project group.

Ko Byungcheol, Director of KMI, said, “KMI has been striving to enhance internal and external customer satisfaction through IT advancement, such as building a next-generation health screening platform at nationwide screening centers last year,” and added, “This agreement is expected to bring results such as productivity improvement and organizational culture changes centered on intuition and insight.”
