Following last year, special operations submachine gun STC-16 and others showcased again this year
[Asia Economy Yang Nak-gyu, Military Specialist Reporter] Defense company SNT Motive is focusing on targeting the Iraqi market.
On the 6th, SNT Motive announced that it is participating in the "International Anti-Terrorism, Special Operations, and Cybersecurity Exhibition 2022" (hereinafter ATSO Exhibition), held until the 7th at the Baghdad International Exhibition Center in Iraq, showcasing advanced small-caliber firearms.
Now in its second year, the ATSO Exhibition is regarded as a platform for direct sales activities presenting equipment that the Iraqi military can actually use, with a total of 27 companies participating, including Iraqi military agencies.
Participating again this year following last year, SNT Motive is exhibiting special operations submachine gun STC-16, K4 high-speed grenade machine gun, STSM-21 submachine gun, K15 light machine gun recently introduced into our military, and K16 machine gun.
In particular, reflecting the somewhat unsettled current situation in Iraq, officials from the Counter-Terrorism Service (CTS) have visited the SNT Motive exhibition booth in person, showing interest in the products, SNT Motive reported.
Additionally, meetings are being held with key government agency officials such as the Iraqi Ministry of Defense and Ministry of Interior to pursue export business and to achieve business results in the firearms sector with which they have long cooperated.
An official from SNT Motive’s Special Sales Team stated, "Given the recent security issues in the Middle East, the role of the Counter-Terrorism Service in preventing terrorism and maintaining public order has become increasingly important. We will continue to maintain cooperative relations through ongoing exchanges." He added, "We will continue to create business opportunities not only in the Middle East but also with various countries to expand exports of our weapons and lead the 'K-Defense' industry."
