Operation of Public Health Centers, Emergency Medical Institutions, and COVID-19 One-Stop Medical Institutions
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Wook] Changnyeong-gun, Gyeongnam Province, will activate an emergency medical system from the 9th to the 12th to prepare for emergency patient occurrences and minimize medical inconvenience during the Chuseok holiday.
Two local emergency medical institutions, Hanseong Hospital and Changnyeong Seoul Hospital emergency rooms, will operate a 24-hour emergency medical system, while 11 clinics and 17 holiday duty pharmacies will be designated and operated by date.
On Chuseok day, the county health center will provide medical treatment, and health clinics will divide medical service areas by region to fill gaps in medical institutions.
To strengthen the COVID-19 response system and prevent its spread, six one-stop medical institutions that handle testing, face-to-face treatment, and prescriptions at once will operate, allowing COVID-19 patients to receive stable treatment.
During this period, the health center will also operate screening clinics for COVID-19 diagnostic testing and a vaccination reservation call center to increase the rate of the 4th COVID-19 vaccination.
A county official urged, “Since the operating hours of on-duty medical institutions may change unexpectedly, please be sure to confirm by phone with the medical institution before visiting.”
