[Imsil=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Nosik] Imsil-gun, Jeonbuk, has opened the Local JOB Center to create customized local jobs.
The county held an opening ceremony for the Local JOB Center (Director Park Seonggeun) located at the Imsil Happiness Sharing Center and announced that it has begun full-scale operations on the 2nd.
About 50 people related to the job sector attended the opening ceremony, including County Governor Sim Min, County Council Chairman Lee Seongjae, county council members, Yoon Dongwook, Head of Jeonbuk Job Economy Headquarters, and Kim Gwan-oh, Head of Regional Cooperation at the Jeonju Employment and Labor Office.
This year, the county was selected for the Jeonbuk Province regional customized job creation contest and opened the Local JOB Center at the Happiness Sharing Center in April for temporary operation.
The Local JOB Center is a project to establish a regional hub-type job support center in rural areas without employment welfare centers.
Jeonju Kijeon University Industry-Academic Cooperation Group is in charge of the executing agency and plans to provide employment services focusing on job-disadvantaged areas and companies.
Main programs include job matching programs, building a job database, employment consulting and joint interviews, and operating employment competency enhancement programs.
It is expected to play a foothold role in accelerating job creation within the region and solving regional issues such as population decline.
In particular, it is expected to create a synergy effect along with the county’s core projects, such as attracting advanced industries to the Imsil 2nd Agricultural Industrial Complex and attracting pet-related companies to the Osu 2nd Agricultural Industrial Complex.
County Governor Sim Min said, “Through the solid operation of the JOB Center, we hope it will become a hub space that creates customized and sustainable quality jobs suitable for the region.” He added, “Based on this, we will strive to successfully lead the county administration of the 8th elected term.”
