[Asia Economy Reporter Minji Lee] Korea Securities Depository announced on the 2nd that it has signed a business agreement for the '2022 Women Digital Coach Support Project' and 'ESG Management Practice' with four women's workforce development centers in the Busan area (Busanjin Women's Workforce Development Center, Haeundae Women's Workforce Development Center, Dongnae Women's Workforce Development Center, Dong-gu Women's Workforce Development Center).

The Women Digital Coach Support Project is a job creation initiative for women in Busan who have experienced career interruptions, training them to become 'digital coaches' who educate digitally vulnerable groups such as the elderly on how to use mobile devices necessary for daily life.

The Korea Securities Depository is sponsoring with a donation of 80 million KRW, and the four women's workforce development centers in Busan are responsible for selecting and training the digital coaches. The Depository stated, "Through the Women Digital Coach Support Project, we will create jobs for a total of 24 women who have experienced career interruptions and improve the digital device usage skills of digitally vulnerable groups who have been left behind amid the acceleration of non-face-to-face activities."

In addition to this project, the Depository plans to actively practice ESG management through customized job support projects for vulnerable groups, such as the 'Total Clean Master Support Project for Self-Sufficient Residents' and the 'Senior Green Dream Keeper Support Project.'
