Hugel Appoints Hwang Jung-wook as CFO and Vice President of Management Support Division

[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-joo] Hugel announced on the 1st that it has newly appointed Hwang Jeong-wook as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Vice President of the Management Support Division.

Vice President Hwang is a financial expert with 28 years of experience across various industries. At Hugel, he will oversee all management infrastructure-related tasks, including financial accounting, SCM (Supply Chain Management) operations, and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) implementation.

Vice President Hwang majored in Economics at Seoul National University and completed the MBA program at London Business School. He began his career at Hanwha Group and worked as a strategy consultant at Accenture Korea. He has served as CFO at Homeplus, Pizza Hut Korea, and Gongcha UK.

Notably, from 2008 to 2020, he held key financial positions at the global pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca. Expanding his global footprint, he served as CFO of the Korean branch and as Financial Controller for the International Business Division at the Asia-Pacific headquarters and the UK global headquarters.
