Building Field Experience Outside the Classroom! ... Dong-Eui Science University Signs Industry-Academia Agreement with Busan Food Service Company KitchenBori Representatives from Dong-Eui Institute of Technology and Kitchenbory are signing an agreement and taking a group commemorative photo.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Dong-Eui Institute of Technology signed an industry-academic cooperation agreement with Kitchen Borie on the 26th for the operation of an early employment-type contract department.


The agreement signed on the 26th was prepared to foster an organic cooperative relationship between the two institutions for the successful promotion of the Early Employment-Type Contract Department Leading Junior College Development Project.


Attendees at the signing ceremony included Dong-Eui Institute of Technology President Kim Young-do, Industry-Academic Cooperation Director Lee Hwa-seok, Hotel Food Service and Culinary Department Head Han Jin-sook, Kitchen Borie Executive Director Lee Kwang-won, and HR representatives.


The main contents of the agreement include ▲ joint manpower training cooperation related to the early employment-type contract department ▲ operation of the early employment-type contract department and R&BD-related technology development ▲ joint participation and support in educational projects ▲ cooperation in participation of franchise stores in the Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam regions ▲ and support and cooperation for various projects and events promoted by both institutions.


Kitchen Borie, which operates 'The Bay 101' in Haeundae and 'Old Tree Market' in Dadaepo, is a Busan-based food service company.


The company operates various food service brands such as 'Daedo Restaurant' and 'Borie Bakery & Deli,' and recently launched 'Millak The Market' in Gwangalli, Busan, which is emerging as a new tourist attraction as a complex F&B space.


President Kim Young-do said, “I am honored to establish industry-academic cooperation with Kitchen Borie, a representative food service company in Busan,” and added, “Through this agreement, we will work together so that students in the food service and culinary fields can gain field experience outside the classroom at various industrial sites and ultimately be connected to employment.”
