[Haenam=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Hyun] Jeonnam Haenam-gun is accelerating the concrete implementation of promises made to residents by holding the 2nd briefing session to establish detailed action plans for the 8th term public pledge projects.
According to the county on the 31st, through this briefing session, they reviewed 115 pledge projects across 15 strategies in 5 major areas and explored various measures to implement and address issues discussed in the 1st briefing session.
The county plans to focus on enhancing feasibility so that the 15 strategic projects in 5 major areas, under the subtitle ‘515 Ga Haenam Euddeummaule’ (515 Haenam Premier Villages), can increase residents' perception and become a practical driving force for county development.
Additionally, they have selected 115 core tasks according to 15 strategies such as trusted ethical management administration in the 8th term, leading carbon neutrality in response to climate change, and people-centered customized welfare, and are accelerating the establishment of detailed action plans.
Furthermore, for pledge projects expected to face difficulties during implementation, such as the Hwawon Shipbuilding Industrial Complex and Development Complex construction and the establishment of the National Marine Fisheries Museum, they plan to increase feasibility through thorough review and seek implementation plans that benefit residents.
Moreover, to enhance the execution power of pledge projects, they plan to conduct quarterly self-assessments of progress and systematically manage them through evaluations by the Korea Manifesto Practice Headquarters.
In particular, having achieved a 99.1% implementation rate for 65 tasks in 5 major strategies during the 7th term and receiving the highest (SA) rating for four consecutive years in pledge fulfillment evaluations, they are committed to doing their best to keep promises to residents in the 8th term as well.
Meanwhile, the 8th term pledge projects will be finalized next month, published on the county website, and expanded resident participation through processes such as collecting opinions via the Manifesto Resident Jury System, thereby increasing transparency in pledge implementation.
Myunghyeon-gwan, Haenam County Governor, urged, “We will actively promote all pledge projects of the 8th term through interdepartmental collaboration to enhance project efficiency and feasibility and fulfill promises made to residents.”
