[Tomorrow's Weather] Cloudy Nationwide... Showers in Seoul and Northern Gyeonggi

[Asia Economy Reporter Heo Kyung-jun] On Wednesday the 31st, the whole country will be mostly cloudy, with most of the rain that started the day before coming to an end.

In the Seoul metropolitan area, rain will continue until dawn; in the Chungnam and Jeolla regions, until morning; in Gangwon Yeongseo, Chungbuk, and Jeju Island, until noon; in Gangwon Yeongdong and Gyeongsang regions, until the afternoon; and in the southern coastal areas of Gyeongbuk and the Gyeongnam coastal region, rain will persist until night.

In the southern regions and Gangwon mountainous areas, there will be gusty winds accompanied by thunder and lightning. Strong rain of about 10 to 20 mm per hour is expected mainly in the early morning in the southern Gangwon East Coast, central and southern Gangwon mountainous areas, northern Chungbuk, and northeastern Gyeongbuk.

Expected precipitation amounts are 20 to 70 mm in southeastern Gyeonggi, Gangwon Province, Chungcheong region, Gyeongsang region, and Ulleungdo and Dokdo; 5 to 40 mm in the Seoul metropolitan area, northern inland Gangwon, northern Chungnam, Jeolla region, and Jeju Island. In the afternoon, there may be showers of about 5 mm in Seoul, northern Gyeonggi, and northern Gangwon Yeongseo.

The morning low temperature is forecast to be between 18 and 24 degrees Celsius, and the daytime high temperature between 22 and 28 degrees Celsius. As the rain stops, daytime temperatures will rise slightly compared to the previous day.
