‘Book Talk with Author Jomi-hyeong’ Held … Gijang-gun Jeonggwan Library, Theme: ‘People of Gijang Who Love the Sea’

Novel 'Mosaic Busan' Theme ... Our Neighborhood Writers Across the Regions by Season 'Autumn' Edition

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Dong-guk] Jeonggwan Library in Gijang-gun, Busan, will host a book talk titled "People of Gijang Who Love the Sea" on September 22, inviting author Jo Mi-hyung, co-author of Mosaic Busan (published by Sanjini) and a member of the Gijang Writers' Association.

This book talk event is part of the "Meeting Our Neighborhood Writers Across the Seasons" series, with the "Autumn" edition inviting local writers from Gijang-gun as storytellers to create a space for communication with local residents.

The session will discuss the characters living by the Gijang sea, which serves as the novel's setting, and share time with the author talking about the impact of the marine environment on people.

The program will be held on September 22 at 10:30 AM in the Spring Lecture Room on the 2nd floor of Jeonggwan Library. Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis for 20 participants starting from 10:00 AM on September 1 via the Jeonggwan Library website.

Following the "Spring" edition (children's literature) in April and the "Summer" edition (essays) in July, the upcoming "Autumn" edition (novels) will be followed by the final "Winter" edition in December, themed around poetry. This will conclude the "Meeting Our Neighborhood Writers Across the Seasons" event series aimed at revitalizing local humanities in daily life.
