Establishing Expert Organizations by Field to Build a Nationwide Cooperation Network

Jinju City Holds First Meeting to Promote Construction of the 'Korea Entrepreneurship National History Museum' A dedicated team is holding a meeting to promote the construction of the National History Museum.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] On the 30th, Jinju City in Gyeongnam held the first working-level meeting of the dedicated organization to promote the establishment of the National Entrepreneurship History Museum at the K-Entrepreneurship Education Center located in Jisumyeon.


The dedicated organization council consists of 17 members who are experienced and knowledgeable working-level officials from related institutions and organizations in entrepreneurship, including the Small and Medium Business Corporation, Korea Land and Housing Corporation, Korea South-East Power, Korean Academic Society of Business Administration, Gyeongnam Center for Creative Economy and Innovation, Korea Youth Entrepreneurship Foundation, Global Entrepreneurship Research Korea Federation, Federation of Korean Industries, and Jinju Chamber of Commerce and Industry.


They will provide opinions on the basic directions for each field such as collection of books and academic materials, education and startup support directions, and promotion and attraction plans to establish the National Entrepreneurship History Museum, and will play a role in building a nationwide cooperative network of related institutions and organizations to spread the validity and necessity of establishing the National Entrepreneurship History Museum.


At the meeting, reports were given on the progress of the entrepreneurship education center, specialized library, and experience center projects promoted by Jinju City so far to build the entrepreneurship capital of the Republic of Korea, explanations on the background and outline of the National History Museum establishment, and various discussions on future plans were held.


A city official said, “We will hold meetings frequently with working-level related institutions to establish a basic plan befitting the status of the National History Museum, and will accelerate the establishment promotion by visiting central government departments in the first half of 2023.”
