Kolon Resort & Hotel Launches Five 'Happy Fall in Kolon' Packages for Autumn Season

[Asia Economy Reporter Jeon Jinyoung] Kolon Resort & Hotel is introducing five types of the ‘Happy Fall in Kolon’ packages for customers planning a ‘Fall-cance (autumn vacation)’ ahead of the Chuseok golden holiday and the full-fledged autumn season.

According to Kolon Resort & Hotel on the 30th, this package lineup includes the ‘Chuk-cance’ package that lets you fully enjoy the festive holiday atmosphere, the ‘Green-cance’ package that allows participation in environmental protection activities, and the ‘Sul-cance’ package to enjoy traditional liquors. These are available at five resorts and hotels nationwide: Gyeongju Kolon Hotel, Mauna Ocean Resort, Busan Kolon Sea Cloud Hotel, Uljin Geumgangsong Eco-rium, and Seoul Hotel Poco Seongsu.

First, during the Chuseok holiday period, the ‘Wishing for a Full Harvest Festival’ package, which allows families to enjoy traditional games in their rooms, will be operated from the 5th to the 18th of next month. A kit including Yutnori, Gonggi (knucklebones), rubber band jumping, spinning tops, ttakji (folded paper cards), and biseokchigi (stone knocking game) will be provided.

The ‘We Give You Yakgwa and a Diagnosis Sheet’ package, available from the 1st of next month until November 30th, offers guests an eco-friendly self-diagnosis sheet to assess their environmental protection practices. Afterwards, guests can enjoy the unique yakgwa (traditional Korean honey cookie) from the Korean dessert brand Baodam through the accompanying ‘Yakgwa’ prescription.

There is also the ‘Autumn Love Makgeolli’ package, prepared in collaboration with Dok Brewery, a makgeolli-specialized traditional liquor company. It includes one night’s stay and a bottle and glass of Dok Brewery makgeolli, full of the unique taste, aroma, and flavor of Korean rice.

Additionally, the ‘Tomorrow is Seomseom Oksu’ package provides an eco-friendly water bottle made from corn starch and hand cream, while the ‘Autumn Pick-cance’ package offers an air sofa and two takeout coffees.
