[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Juri] The psychopathy test result of Lee Eunhae, who was prosecuted in the so-called 'Valley Murder' case, came out at 31 points. Lawyer Kim Seonghoon pointed out, "This is the highest level. The standard score is 25 points, so it is high enough to exceed the standard."

On the 28th, appearing on YTN News Rider, Lawyer Kim said about Lee's test result, "This is the content analyzed and tested by experts based on Lee's investigation, criminal record, and life records."

Lawyer Kim explained, "Psychopathy is not treated as a disability to reduce the sentence like diminished capacity or mental disorder," but added, "Murder is recognized when a person is pushed or killed with a weapon, but in this case, the victim physically entered the (valley) by themselves. Since the victim could not swim, it is questionable whether they entered a place where drowning was possible, so the prosecution looked at psychological control when indicting (and conducted the test)."

He continued, "Because the defendant (Lee Eunhae) has psychopathic tendencies and gaslighted and controlled the psychologically vulnerable victim, it was necessary to prove the causal relationship leading to the murder through that connection, so the test was conducted," he added.

Lawyer Kim said, "One of the reasons for the judgment is the legally hostile attitude," and added, "This can indirectly work to recognize that this person fundamentally does not respect the rights of others and is a highly dangerous criminal who directly challenges the legal order system."

Earlier, Professor Lee Sujeong of the Department of Criminal Psychology at Kyonggi University appeared as a witness at the Incheon District Court Criminal Division 15 (Chief Judge Lee Gyuhun) on the 26th and explained Lee's psychopathy test results.

In an opinion submitted to the prosecution, Professor Lee analyzed, "The victim could only be seen as being mentally controlled and manipulated by (Lee Eunhae)," and "Although the victim could have appealed to her sister or reported to the police, she was in a mental panic state that could not consider other possibilities."

Meanwhile, Lee Eunhae was arrested and indicted on charges of murdering Yoon, aiming for 800 million won in insurance money, at Yongsogye Valley in Gapyeong-gun, Gyeonggi Province, on June 30, 2019.

At the trial held on the 11th of last month, A, an acquaintance of Lee Eunhae who appeared as a witness, testified, "As soon as the deceased (victim Yoon) left the pension, Lee entered a room with another suspect Jo and had sexual intercourse," causing shock.
