[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] The Ministry of SMEs and Startups announced on the 28th that it will hold the 'Win-Win Consumption Lottery' event using a receipt lottery method during the '7-Day Together Festival' starting from the 1st of next month.
The 7-Day Together Festival is an in-person consumption promotion event involving domestic and international retailers, traditional markets, and shopping districts. During this period, if you submit card or cash purchase receipts online, you can participate in the Win-Win Consumption Lottery event, where prize money will be awarded through a drawing after the event ends.
The total prize pool is 1.2 billion KRW, with 3,500 winners, and there are no age restrictions or other conditions, allowing nationwide participation. If you make a purchase of 30,000 KRW or more at small business stores, you can enter once per receipt regardless of the amount. First prize winners (500 people) will receive 1 million KRW each, second prize winners (1,000 people) will receive 500,000 KRW each, and third prize winners (2,000 people) will receive 100,000 KRW each.
The winners will be announced after the event ends, once the submitted receipt information is compiled and checked for errors. Winners who are notified must register their information for prize receipt on the event website within 7 days. After verification, the full prize amount (cash, with no 22% tax deduction) will be deposited.
To provide many people with winning opportunities, multiple wins per person are not allowed; only the highest prize won will be recognized once. However, submitting multiple entries with different receipts issued through various purchases can increase the chances of winning.
Participation in the event is possible through the Win-Win Consumption Lottery website, and inquiries can be made via the dedicated call center.
