[Imsil=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Park Nosik] Imsil County, Jeonbuk, announced on the 26th that it has finally selected two employees as excellent proactive public officials for the first half of this year, who promoted work with a creative and challenging attitude to enhance the convenience of residents and contributed to spreading a culture of proactive administration within the organization.

The county conducted a first-round practical review of candidates received through department and public recommendations, evaluating factors such as residents' perception and eligibility, and after deliberation by the Proactive Administration Committee, finally selected Team Leader Jeong Ilbeom of the Economic Transportation Division and Officer Moon Seongjun of the Medical Support Division as excellent public officials.

Team Leader Jeong Ilbeom, selected as an excellent proactive public official, completed compensation negotiations and cultural heritage investigations in advance for the Osu 3rd Agricultural Industrial Complex, shortening the project period from 8 years to 4 years, thereby contributing to job creation and revitalization of the local economy.

Officer Moon Seongjun of the Medical Support Division contributed to alleviating the inconvenience of pregnant women who had to travel to surrounding areas for medical treatment and childbirth due to the absence of obstetrics and gynecology clinics in the region by securing selection in the public contest project supporting obstetrics and gynecology in delivery-vulnerable areas.

The county plans to provide benefits such as preferential treatment in personnel evaluations with the highest bonus points and priority selection for overseas policy training to the selected excellent public officials.

County Governor Sim Min said, “We will continue to provide incentives for excellent public officials to boost the morale of employees who actively promote work from the perspective of residents and contribute to enhancing public interest, and to create better proactive administrative achievements.”
