Pulmuone Nokjeup Launches Low-Sugar Health Juice 'Rich Bitter Melon & Jerusalem Artichoke with Beet'

Pulmuone Nokjeup Launches Low-Sugar Health Juice 'Rich Bitter Melon & Jerusalem Artichoke with Beet'

[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Pulmuone Nokjeup announced on the 26th that it has launched a low-sugar health juice, "Rich Yeoju & Dwaejigamja with Beet," made from domestically grown Yeoju and Dwaejigamja.

"Rich Yeoju & Dwaejigamja with Beet" uses extracts from domestically grown Yeoju and Dwaejigamja. Yeoju, also known as the "Goblin's Club" due to its appearance, has the drawback of being difficult to consume raw because of its distinctive bitterness. To address this, Dwaejigamja, which has recently gained popularity as a healthy ingredient, was added to enhance the savory flavor and reduce the bitterness. Additionally, red beet, a root vegetable known as the "red blood of the earth" or the "root of life," was included to boost health benefits.

"Rich Yeoju & Dwaejigamja with Beet" contains less than 1g of sugar per 100ml packet, making it easy for anyone to enjoy without burden. The company explains that it is recommended for people who usually consume beverages or snacks high in sugar. The manufacturing process is carried out in a HACCP-certified facility, ensuring safe consumption. To celebrate the launch, a free 5-day trial event will be held until the 30th of next month for new and existing customers who drink the product at least three times a week through franchise stores and Morning Step.

A Pulmuone Nokjeup representative said, "We have introduced a new low-sugar health juice that can be enjoyed anytime and anywhere, helping busy people have a comfortable and healthy day." They added, "We will continue to introduce differentiated health juice products that consider customers' diverse lifestyles and needs."
