CJ Logistics Maintains Compliance Management International Standard for 2 Consecutive Years

[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Dae-yeol] CJ Logistics announced on the 25th that it received a conformity judgment in the ISO37301 compliance management system surveillance audit.


Following its initial certification last year as the first in the logistics industry, the company succeeded in maintaining the international standard certification for two consecutive years by receiving a conformity judgment in the surveillance audit as well. The surveillance audit is conducted annually. The company stated, "We succeeded in re-certification by receiving favorable evaluations in areas such as preemptive identification and response to legal and regulatory risks, and compliance training for executives and employees."


ISO37301 is an international standard certification for compliance management systems established by the International Organization for Standardization, aimed at achieving corporate compliance management, organizational governance, and ethical management. According to the company, it established a dedicated compliance team in 2016 and has consistently carried out various activities such as regular training and monitoring. It also holds compliance management committee meetings regularly and sends newsletters to employees periodically to help them quickly learn behavioral guidelines.


Jang Yoon-seok, head of CJ Logistics, said, "With this certification, we will further strengthen compliance management as part of ESG management and fulfill the company's social responsibilities."
