Four Consecutive Years of Donations Continue, Setting an Example for the Local Community
[Gokseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Cha Jong-sun] The Gokseong County Future Education Foundation in Jeollanam-do announced that Daboo Co., Ltd. has donated 10 million won to the foundation again this year, following last year.
Established in 2015, Daboo Co., Ltd. is a comprehensive construction company located in Gokseong County, Jeollanam-do.
Starting with a donation of 10 million won to the Jeonnam Community Chest of Korea in 2019, the company has been donating for four consecutive years, serving as a model for the local community.
The first connection with the Gokseong County Future Education Foundation was made in 2021 when Daboo Co., Ltd. donated 10 million won to support scholarships and school education activities for local youth.
Kwon Cheol, CEO of Daboo Co., Ltd., expressed his sincere feelings toward local youth, saying, "This year as well, I donated to the Gokseong County Future Education Foundation with the hope that it would help the growth of local youth even a little."
In 2022, the Gokseong County Future Education Foundation is promoting about 30 educational projects to create a healthy educational ecosystem and enhance local educational capabilities.
Currently, donations continue from individuals and companies who wish to participate in the foundation’s vision and projects to revitalize local education.
