Gwangju Nam-gu Council Completes Formation of 'Budget and Accounts Committee'... Assembly Member No So-young Appointed as Chairperson

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] The Nam-gu Council of Gwangju Metropolitan City announced on the 23rd that it has completed the formation of the Budget and Accounts Special Committee at the 1st plenary session of the 286th extraordinary meeting.

The Budget and Accounts Committee consists of a total of six members: Chairperson No So-young, Vice Chairperson Eun Bong-hee, and members Park Yong-hwa, Kim Kwang-soo, Oh Young-soon, and Park Sang-gil. They will serve until June 30 of next year.

The committee plans to review and approve the "2022 1st Supplementary Budget for Revenues and Expenditures and the 1st Fund Operation Plan Amendment (an increase of 153.479 billion KRW compared to the original budget)."

Chairperson No So-young said, "I thank the council members who elected me as chairperson of the Budget and Accounts Special Committee," and added, "I will do my best to ensure the smooth operation of the Budget and Accounts Special Committee."
