Hanwha Investment & Securities Launches 'Woori WON Banking Stock Trading Service'


[Asia Economy Reporter Minji Lee] Hanwha Investment & Securities announced on the 23rd that it has launched the ‘WooriWON Banking Stock Trading Service,’ which allows trading of domestic stocks on Woori Bank’s mobile platform ‘WooriWON Banking.’


The WooriWON Banking Stock Trading Service enables users to easily check investment information and trade domestic stocks within WooriWON Banking without the need to install a separate MTS (Mobile Trading System).


To apply for the service, customers can open a Hanwha Investment & Securities account through WooriWON Banking or a Woori Bank branch and register for the ‘WooriWON Banking Stock Trading Service.’


To commemorate the launch, Hanwha Investment & Securities will randomly gift one domestic stock share to the first 50,000 customers who open their first-ever new account through WooriWON Banking by October 14.


Additionally, customers who trade domestic stocks worth 1 million KRW or more through the ‘WooriWON Banking Stock Trading Service’ will receive an additional investment support fund of 20,000 KRW.


Woori Bank is also conducting an event to celebrate the launch of the stock trading service. Until September 30, customers who apply for the ‘WooriWON Banking Stock Trading Service’ event and subscribe to the service will be entered into a draw to win prizes including an iPad Pro 11, iPhone 13, AirPods Pro, Dyson hairdryer, Baedal Minjok coupon (10,000 KRW), and Naver Plus Membership (1-month pass). Additionally, the first 100,000 customers will receive one Starbucks mobile coffee coupon.


Jung Joon, Head of Digital Strategy Office at Hanwha Investment & Securities, stated, “We have launched a service that allows customers using WooriWON Banking to trade stocks easily,” and added, “We will continue to strive to provide various stock trading services that enhance customer convenience.”
