Ten Episodes of Maeu Monday to Be Broadcast Sequentially
Online video service (OTT) Wavve will exclusively release the HBO original 'House of the Dragon (10 episodes)'. It is a prequel to the popular series 'Game of Thrones'. Starting from the 22nd, ten episodes will be sequentially broadcast every Monday at 5 PM.
'Game of Thrones' is a popular series that aired eight seasons over 10 years. Last year, it was selected as one of the top 100 drama series by the British BBC and swept 47 Emmy trophies, including three Outstanding Drama Series awards. It was also released in Korea last year through Wavve, receiving explosive attention. It continues to enjoy unwavering popularity, maintaining a top 3 position in the overseas series category.
'House of the Dragon' deals with the Targaryen family who ruled Westeros 200 years before 'Game of Thrones'. It depicts the conflicts and clashes among the ancestors of Daenerys (Emilia Clarke). Wavve signed a large-scale exclusive monthly subscription contract with HBO this year to acquire the broadcasting rights. Next month, it will present 'The Staircase' starring Colin Firth and Toni Collette, 'Raised by Wolves' produced by Ridley Scott, and 'Irma Vep', a reinterpretation of a film by director Olivier Assayas.
