According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, on the 21st, the sky will be mostly cloudy across the country, with showers of 5 to 20 mm expected in the southeastern part of Jeonbuk and inland areas of Jeonnam in the afternoon.
The morning low temperature is expected to be between 18 and 25 degrees Celsius, and the daytime high temperature between 27 and 32 degrees Celsius.
Heatwave warnings have been issued for Seoul, Gyeonggi, some inland areas of Chungcheong, and Jeju Island. The highest apparent temperature will rise to 31 to 33 degrees Celsius mainly in the central region and Jeonbuk, making it hot. Tropical nights (nighttime low temperature above 25 degrees Celsius) are expected in some parts of Jeju Island.
The highest afternoon temperatures in major cities are expected to be 32 degrees in Seoul, 30 degrees in Incheon, 32 degrees in Daejeon, 32 degrees in Gwangju, 31 degrees in Daegu, 28 degrees in Ulsan, and 30 degrees in Busan.
