McDonald's to Raise Prices Starting the 25th... Big Mac Single Item 4,900 Won

[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] McDonald's announced on the 19th that it will raise the prices of major menu items by an average of 4.8% starting from the 25th. This comes six months after increasing the prices of about 30 products in February.

The price increase per menu item ranges from a minimum of 100 won to a maximum of 400 won.

For example, the 'Double Bulgogi Burger' single item will increase from 4,400 won to 4,500 won by 100 won, and the 'Big Mac' single item will rise from 4,600 won to 4,900 won by 300 won.

A McDonald's representative stated, “Due to the sharp rise in domestic and international costs such as raw material prices and logistics expenses, we have inevitably decided to adjust some prices. We will continue to operate various discount platforms such as ‘McLunch’ and ‘Happy Snack’ to minimize the burden on customers, and we will work closely with franchise owners and supply partners to provide higher quality products and services.”

Previously, McDonald's also raised the prices of about 30 products by 100 to 300 won in February.
