[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] Hanam Cultural Foundation (Chairman Lee Hyunjae) announced on the 18th that it will hold the 16th solo exhibition of stone painting artist Kim Jongho in collaboration with Starfield Hanam.

In this exhibition, the artist attempts new possibilities and expansions of expressive areas. Approaching the various incidents, big and small, experienced during his growth in Ingok, Sannae-myeon, Miryang-gun, Gyeongnam, his hometown, with the contextual background of the 1970s and three-dimensional thinking, he pursues dynamic realism and another form of distinctiveness.

Through this exhibition, the artist unveils 10 works using patterned stones and jade. Through the diverse works, which are the product of consistent and stubborn artistic contemplation, the audience can gauge the futuristic artistic qualities the artist pursues.

Also, expressing concern about the art market centered on pop art and the unilateral dominance of Western ways of thinking, the artist explains, "I breathed into the stone the desire to break away from indiscriminate uniformity."

The exhibition will be held from the 26th to September 8th at the Small Art Museum in Starfield Hanam, Hanam-si, Gyeonggi-do.
