Mokpo City Council Promotes Formation of Special Committee to Support Attraction of National Mokpo University College of Medicine and Medical Hospital

Moon Cha-bok, Chairperson of the Mokpo City Council, stated, "The push to form the special committee is to respond promptly to the overheated competition among local governments to attract the medical school," adding, "We will concentrate all our efforts to the fullest to attract the College of Medicine of Mokpo University, a long-cherished project of the local residents."

Meanwhile, in the 12th council, reflecting on the special committee activities of the 11th council, it was announced that the special committee activities will be carried out with differentiated content from before, including political appeals, holding forums, conducting public campaigns, and linking among local governments within Jeollanam-do.
