'Incheon International Fishing & Camping Fair' Held in Songdo from 26th to 28th

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyesook] The "2022 Incheon International Fishing & Camping Fair," co-hosted by Incheon Tourism Organization and the exhibition specialist company Seoul Messe International Co., Ltd., will be held from the 26th to the 28th at Songdo Convensia in Incheon.

A total of over 70 companies, including leading domestic fishing gear manufacturers and distributors as well as camping specialty companies, will participate with more than 200 booths showcasing various products and services such as fishing rods, floats, lure equipment, camping cars, and boats.

Additionally, famous fishing influencers and YouTubers will be invited to conduct live broadcasts at the exhibition site, and there will be a prize event featuring fishing rods worth approximately 200,000 KRW.

Various side events and interesting attractions will also be prepared, including a "Famous Fishing Pro Lecture" sharing special fishing tips for unique fish species, and fishing casting demonstrations and experiences.

Participants in the programs will have a chance to win prizes such as fishing rods, lure equipment, sunglasses donated by exhibiting companies, and 100 city tour bus tickets to visit Incheon’s tourist attractions.

The exhibition, which was first held last year, is Incheon’s representative fishing expo aimed at fostering the fishing and camping industry, which is growing as marine tourism content.

An official from Incheon Tourism Organization stated, "This will be an opportunity to understand the demand and trends of the fishing and camping industry, which has become a popular leisure activity for the public," and added, "We will continue to strive to discover marine leisure tourism content in Incheon."
