Naver Webtoon Home Screen Revamp... Added Images and Enhanced Recommendation Features

[Asia Economy Reporter Seomideum] Naver Webtoon has revamped its APP and PC/mobile home screens. By applying poster images for each work and enhancing the recommendation feature, they aimed to strengthen the curation function.

According to Naver Webtoon, main poster images for each work have been inserted into the daily webtoon lists. A representative stated, “While maintaining the usability for existing readers as much as possible, we redesigned the interface to highlight the characteristics of each work so that users can understand the works more intuitively.”

The webtoon exploration feature has also been enhanced. Through ‘AI Recommended Webtoons,’ one webtoon is custom recommended for each daily, daily+, and tab category. In the expanded lower home area, a ‘Go to Random Work’ feature was added to allow users to enjoy webtoons randomly. Additionally, new works that have released their first episode within the last 24 hours are separately marked as ‘Today’s Released Webtoon.’

Park Soyeon, Naver Webtoon’s Product Lead, said, “Naver Webtoon is the platform where the largest number of webtoon works and fans gather worldwide. We carried out this revamp so that users can more easily discover and enjoy new works. We plan to further enhance the service, including improving the readability of poster images.”
