[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jun-kyung] Kim Dae-jung, Superintendent of Education for Jeonnam, attracted attention on the 17th by visiting an elementary after-school care classroom and creating an opportunity for communication on-site.
On this day, Superintendent Kim visited Daebul Elementary School in Yeongam, checked the operation status of the elementary after-school care classroom during the summer vacation, encouraged school officials, and then observed the care classroom classes.
He then had a time of communication with the care department of the provincial education office and school officials on the topic of operating the Daebul Elementary after-school care classroom.
Superintendent Kim Dae-jung said, “I visited to listen to the field’s opinions on responding to the continuously increasing demand for care and the gradual expansion of care classroom operating hours, as well as the promotion of full-day elementary education.” He added, “We will continuously promote measures to ensure the safe growth of children and reduce the childcare burden on parents by expanding the national responsibility area for education.”
