The post included a captured photo of a secondhand trading platform listing, where user A on Danggeun Market purchased Homeplus's 'Dangdang Chicken,' manufactured the same day, for 6,990 won and was reselling it. The price A posted was 10,000 won, about 3,000 won higher than the original price.

A said, "I just lined up at Homeplus at 12 o'clock and bought it, but since there are many other foods, I don't have to eat it," adding, "I will accept contact until 1:05. If it doesn't sell, it will be dinner for my family." He further added, "Since it is originally popular and limited, people line up to eat it, so if someone nearby takes it, consider it as tasting with an additional delivery fee."

Meanwhile, Dangdang Chicken is part of the 2022 Homeplus Price Stabilization Project, which started selling on June 30, and it means it is manufactured and sold on the same day.

Homeplus held an event on the first day of the hottest summer period (Chobok) selling 5,000 Dangdang Chickens on a first-come, first-served basis for 4,990 won. Most stores nationwide experienced lining up, and the prepared quantity was sold out within an hour. Dangdang Chicken has received favorable reviews for its cost-effectiveness in the era of high prices, recording cumulative sales of over 320,000 units as of the 10th.
