Saeil Center Employment and Startup Success Stories Contest... Until November 4

Writing About Motivations and Experiences Participating in the Saeil Center

[Asia Economy Reporter Han Jinju] The Ministry of Gender Equality and Family will hold a contest for '2022 Best Cases of Employment and Start-up Support for Career-Interrupted Women' from the 17th to November 4th.

This contest is organized to discover excellent cases of career-interrupted women who succeeded in employment or start-ups through the Women New Work Centers (hereafter Saeil Centers) and to spread cases of career interruption prevention.

Applications will be accepted in two categories: employment and start-up support services provided by 159 Saeil Centers nationwide, and Saeil Center users. Saeil Center staff and service users (women or company representatives) can participate jointly, or women or companies can participate individually.

The employment and start-up support service category includes five fields: ▲Integrated (one-stop) employment support ▲Employment, job placement discovery, internship ▲Vocational education and training, start-up ▲Career interruption prevention and follow-up management ▲Group counseling. The user category consists of two fields: ▲Women ▲Company representatives, totaling seven fields.

A new integrated (one-stop) employment support field has been established, considering the characteristics of Saeil Centers that provide comprehensive employment and start-up services from employment counseling to vocational education and training, employment linkage, and post-employment follow-up management.

After screening, a total of 25 cases will be selected, and an awards ceremony will be held in the first half of next year to present the Minister of Gender Equality and Family and Minister of Employment and Labor Awards along with prize money.

To participate in the contest, applicants must write their experiences, such as the motivation for participating in Saeil Center employment support services and achievements, in the form of a manuscript and submit it as a post on the Saeil Center website. The selected excellent cases will be compiled into a casebook.
