This Year's Protein Drink Sales Increase by 2.7 Times
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Seven Eleven announced on the 17th that it will launch two types of ‘Organica Ola Sports Protein’ created in collaboration with Tottenham Hotspur, Son Heung-min’s club.
Organica Ola Sports Protein is an all-in-one premium plant-based protein drink containing 12g of high-content plant protein made from isolated soy and peas, 10 billion postbiotics derived from kimchi, 6g of rich dietary fiber, and the daily recommended amount of vitamin D that helps bone health.
It is available in two flavors: Oat Grain, which offers a savory and mild taste made from fresh various grains, and Hazelnut Cocoa, full of soft and nutty aroma, allowing consumers to choose according to their preference. According to Seven Eleven, protein drink sales from January to July this year increased more than 2.7 times compared to the previous year.
A Seven Eleven official said, “With the continuous growth of protein drinks recently and increased interest in the national soccer team matches, we launched the Son Heung-min collaboration protein drink. It will play a significant role in driving sales in the protein drink market as a beverage that can be enjoyed without burden before and after exercise.”
