During the event period, popular summer luxury items and fall fashion products such as summer shoes and sunglasses will be offered at discounts of up to 85%.
Duty Free Week is an event held monthly since May by Lotte ON and Lotte Duty Free. It offers duty-free luxury stock from Lotte Duty Free at special prices. The event is so popular that popular products sell out every time. Since the event started, related sales have grown by double digits year-over-year each month due to the synergy effect between the two companies.
Despite difficulties in securing luxury goods due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, it is analyzed that the fact that Lotte Duty Free can reliably supply trusted luxury products at competitive prices, combined with Lotte ON’s experience operating an online mall and its logistics network enabling fast delivery service, had a positive impact.
This Duty Free Week offers luxury goods worth about 2 billion KRW, including products that sold out in previous events, at discounts of up to 85%. Summer products such as summer shoes and sunglasses have all been pre-cleared through customs considering the last vacation demand. These products will be shipped and delivered within 3 days after ordering.
For customers preparing early for fall, clothing, accessories, and jewelry will be available for pre-order. About 300 items will be offered at prices up to 70% cheaper, and pre-order products will be sequentially delivered starting from the 12th of next month after customs clearance. Lotte ON and Lotte Duty Free handle the customs procedures for pre-order delivery products, so customers can receive the products without any separate declaration process after payment.
