[Asia Economy reporters Hyunju Lee and Hyunji Kwon] The People Power Party announced on the 16th that it has published a white paper at the level of the party's Policy Committee to mark the 100th day of President Yoon Seok-yeol's inauguration.

On the same day, at the floor countermeasure meeting held at the National Assembly, Policy Committee Chairman Seong Il-jong stated, "The first 100 days of the Yoon Seok-yeol administration were a golden time for successful state governance," and added, "The party and the Policy Committee have prepared a white paper to conclude that '100-day operation.'"

Chairman Seong, holding up the white paper, introduced, "We set three major directions: policies for people's livelihood and the vulnerable, and preparation for the future. We analyzed state tasks and established an implementation roadmap and legislative plan," and continued, "To implement 120 state tasks, we proposed a total of 93 legislative bills, and 34 are currently being pushed forward, making a total of 127 legislative efforts underway."

In particular, the delivery price linkage system, which Chairman Seong emphasized from the beginning, was officially announced by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups on the 12th to be piloted, and he evaluated this as "bearing fruit."

Furthermore, Chairman Seong mentioned the Digital Asset Special Committee, Rental Housing Task Force (TF), Semiconductor Competitiveness Enhancement Special Committee, Price and Livelihood Safety Special Committee, and Education, Pension, and Labor Reform Special Committee, also referring to bills proposed by each special committee. He said, "We actively responded to the Terra and Luna incidents, strengthened the industry's autonomous market functions, and proposed legislation related to digital assets," adding, "We are also preparing to enact the Digital Asset Basic Act, which will establish a new foundation for the digital asset market." He also added, "The Rental Housing TF proposed the Long-term Public Rental Housing Act, and the Semiconductor Special Committee proposed the Special Measures Act to Strengthen Competitiveness of National Advanced Strategic Industries and the Restriction of Special Taxation Act."

Chairman Seong emphasized, "The 100-day operation white paper is only the beginning of fulfilling the promises of the Yoon Seok-yeol administration," and said, "We will focus all party efforts on policy and legislative support activities to ensure the implementation of the 120 major state tasks and keep our promises to the people and the vulnerable."

The white paper is not expected to be fully disclosed to the media. After the meeting, Chairman Seong told reporters, "There are bills that both ruling and opposition parties are working on together, but some bills may have negative opinions from the opposing party in various aspects, so I ask for understanding that we cannot disclose those parts."
