Stoffel Vandoorne Finishes 2nd in Round 16 of Seoul E-Prix

Mercedes EQ Formula E team driver Stoffel Vandoorne crossed the finish line in 2nd place with a time of 53 minutes 35.436 seconds in Round 16 of the Seoul E-Prix, driving the 'Mercedes-EQ Silver Arrow 02'. Maintaining excellent performance throughout the season, he secured the driver world championship title with a total of 213 points.
Nick de Vries finished the season in 9th place with a total of 106 points. He achieved three podium finishes this season, including wins at Round 1 Saudi Arabia Diriyah E-Prix and Round 8 Berlin E-Prix.
The Mercedes-EQ Formula E team finished first in the team standings with a total of 319 points this season, leading second-place Rokit Venturi Racing by 24 points, securing the team world championship title for the second consecutive year.
Meanwhile, the Mercedes-EQ Formula E team made their debut in the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship starting with the Diriyah E-Prix held in Saudi Arabia in November 2019. Last season, 2020/21, Nick de Vries won the driver world championship, and the Mercedes EQ Formula E team won the team world championship, achieving the double world championship.
