Dongmyung University·Busan Hana Center Collaborate on Support Project for Saeteomin Families... [Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] A project to assist the academic advancement and employment of Saeteomin families who have defected from North Korea and settled in South Korea is being promoted at Dongmyung University.


Dongmyung University (President Jeon Ho-hwan) and Busan Hana Center (Director Kim Jeong-hwan) signed a cooperation agreement on the 12th to provide Saeteomin families with major experience, career exploration, and employment support.


Under the agreement, Dongmyung University will be responsible for on-site major experience programs and special lectures on career exploration for Saeteomin families. It will also actively cooperate in extracurricular activities for academic advancement and employment.


Busan Hana Center will support demand surveys and curriculum development for professional workforce training, as well as department-specific learning and practical field-centered education.


The center will also support information exchange and human resource exchange for research on unification education programs. It will cooperate in communication and resource linkage to support North Korean defectors who are new or current students.
