[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-yoon] The Korea Luxury Authentication Institute announced on the 12th that it has signed a business agreement with China Certification & Inspection Group Korea Company, the Korean branch of China Certification & Inspection Group (CCIC), to develop the luxury authentication market.


CCIC is a state-owned enterprise with 37 branches across all regions of China and over 300 branches in more than 34 countries worldwide, making it the largest certification, inspection, and testing organization in China. CCIC also operates a luxury authentication center in China. It provides specialized services to government supervisory departments such as customs and public corporations, as well as to companies like Alibaba and JD Mall.


At the signing ceremony held on the 2nd, Han Sang-min, CEO of the Korea Luxury Authentication Institute, and Liu Jinwei (LIU JINWEI), CEO of CCIC Korea branch, along with other officials, attended and pledged to share the core competencies, technologies, and know-how of both companies. Furthermore, they agreed to establish the Asia Luxury Authentication Association to promote the development of the luxury authentication market and to actively cooperate in revitalizing the luxury authentication market in China and expanding related business areas.
